In her own words, “The obvious and pretentious film buff answer is… I don’t know, and I can’t choose! But, I think the 1955 Noir/Crime film RIFIFI by Jules Dassin has to be it! The film scratches my brain just right and the pacing of it is something magnificent!”

She has some experience in pre-production, production and post-production. “I have experience in filmmaking, mainly from working in a program in Florence, Italy, a few years back. I’ve also dabbled with acting in NYC, but honestly, screenwriting is where my heart is,” she says.

As of late 2023, she’s back in action learning all about Filmmaking. Her experiences in pre-production, production and post production are becoming more extensive by the minute!

As of early 2023, Nella has graduated from the New York Film Academy with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Screenwriting (Cum Laude). After a successful screenwriting festival year, Nella is back in college doing the Master of Fine Art in Filmmaking!
